Thank you for your interest in the Pediatric PG Program at the Windsor University School of Medicine. The goal of our program is to prepare PG’s to be general pediatricians capable of practicing comprehensive primary care pediatrics or pursuing further subspecialty training. The PG program is designed to be a clinical and educational experience, providing a wide range of opportunities for independent work with guidance by faculty members who take a deep personal interest in each PG.. A basic tenet of the residency program is that housestaff work alongside talented clinician-teachers, both at the Medical Center and in community primary care settings.

Our faculty and residents work very closely together, creating a friendly atmosphere conducive to learning. Our PG’s are well prepared as clinicians and teachers to offer the highest quality of pediatric care. The skills and attitudes they develop enable them to continue learning long after they leave the program, as well as to serve as advocates for child health in the community at large.
